Charleston is one of America's most historic cities. Founded in 1670 by English colonists, this 300-year-old port city was once considered the cultural center of the New World. The city has survived earthquake, fire, war, tornados, and hurricanes. We've restored her pre-revolutionary and ante-bellum buildings into an all American city. Enjoy a guided tour through the old-walled city area and see the famous Battery Waterfront district, St. Phillips Episcopal Church, and the Public Market. See over 100 points of interest and get a comprehensive overview of this charming and graceful city. Departs from the Charleston Visitors Center every 30 minutes (on the hour and half hour) beginning at 9:00 am. Closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day. Tour includes pick-up and drop-off from designated hotels located on the peninsula in downtown Charleston. Child rate applies to children 11 years old and younger.
